Live in Carer for Disabled Lady | Surrey
We urgently require a full time live in carer for an ex-nurse who has sadly had a spinal stroke. The lady lives with her partner and dog and the live in carer is required to assist with personal care, prompting medication and domestic tasks including preparation of meals. We provide a second carer to assist with any moving and handling. The carer is not normally disturbed at night.
We require a female live in carer, ideally with previous care experience. The client is well travelled and has previously lived in Australia and New Zealand. The role may suit a carer/ nurse who has recently moved to the UK and is looking for a long term assignment (e.g. before travelling). You do not need to be a driver for this role.
This position offers good rates of pay, paid in house training with NVQ opportunities and 24 hour support from the friendly staff at our local office. Previous care experience is preferred for this role.
